Die Programmarbeit des Goethe-Instituts Sudan wird fortgesetzt und aus Kairo koordiniert. Kolleg*innen aus Programm, Sprache und Verwaltung gestalten auch weiterhin das Angebot des Goethe-Instituts Sudan. Ziel ist es sudanesischen Partnern, Künstler*innen und Kulturschaffenden Räume zu erschließen, in denen generationsübergreifend und interaktiv Dialog und Austausch sudanesischer Communities miteinander ermöglicht und Kreativität gefördert werden. Gesucht wird auch aktiv der Austausch mit der lokalen Kulturszene. Das Institut in Khartoum, Sudan bleibt bis auf Weiteres geschlossen.

Virtual Exhibition: Postcards from Khartoum, Cairo & Kampala

The Goethe-Institut Sudan invites you to experience Postcards from Khartoum, Cairo, and Kampala — a virtual photography exhibition showcasing powerful visual stories by emerging Sudanese photographers. Launched in collaboration with documentary photographer André Lützen and Alaa Kheir the project explores life during and after the war through three cities.
The opening event features a panel talk “People & Places” and a guided tour.
The exhibition runs from June 16th to July 15th and includes curated tours, artist talks, and more.
